Goreme, Cappadocia's diamond.

The incredible moonscape landscape of Cappadocia with its fairy chimneys, troglodyte dwellings and impressive valleys isn’t replicated anywhere else in the world. The Cappadocia region is vast, covering about 100 square miles, but the four main towns where people stay are Urgup, Uchisar, Goreme and Avanos.

Goreme is a small town with population of 2000 people which has a settlement life inside fairy chimneys. There are cemetery rooms carved into rocks belonging to pre-Christian times. Few places could be more beautiful than Cappadocia’s Goreme.

Twenty years ago the only travelers to Cappadocia were archaeologists and a few hardy backpackers

But the past decade has seen the villages of Urgup, Goreme, and Avanos transformed. Cave houses and crumbling Ottoman mansions have been refurbished as stylish hotels to accommodate a burgeoning stream of visitors. If you are planning to visit Cappadocia try to do it without an organized tour, you will be enjoyed much more. If you prefer a more authentic stay, don't miss staying at a cave hotel.

All sorts of hotels are on offer in this  place, from simple pensions to deluxe five-star resorts, but to taste the real character of the region you should consider staying in a cave hotel, a Cappadocia specialty. Many of the rooms in these cave hotels were carved out of Cappadocia’s volcanic tufa thousands of years ago.
This is an unique experience that is worth every cents. You can’t get more elegant or romantic than these caves hotels located just in the heart of Cappadocia.

Red valley: the Valley Of Different Shades

Red Valley in Cappadocia is one of the most popular valleys in the area, and one of its appealing features is the fact that the overall color or shade of the valley tends to change as the sun moves across the sky.

The color likewise changes with the various seasons, and even with varying weather conditions. Another great attribute of the Red Valley is the fact that the hiking trails are suitable for virtually everyone, regardless of one’s level of fitness.
